Realme has started the phased rollout of the May 2022 security patch via OTA for the Realme GT Neo 3 model. The latest security patch comes with the build number RMX3563_11.A.08 which has brought some major changes in the areas of System, Communication, and Camera scenarios.
Realme GT Neo 3 was released on March 30 2022 with Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 out-of-the-box.
Screen flickering issue which was occurring and degrading the performance of the device has now been optimized. Probabilistic crashing in extreme conditions was a major issue which hampered the functionality of the device which has now been resolved. Power consumption issue and other known issues have been fixed to improve system stability and performance.

The device is getting some major fixes in the image quality of rear and front cameras and reddish color of photo in some situations. Quality of backlight shooting when using the camera outdoors was degraded but with this update, the issue has been optimized. In the area of Communication, network compatibility has been optimized for a seamless connectivity process and also improved the internet experience.
Note that this is a staged rollout by Realme to ensure there are no critical bugs. It will be available to a few users and with the broader rollout, it will reach the rest of the users. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed within a few days.

The Realme GT Neo 3 was released with an Android 12 out-of-the-box. The device is eligible for its first OS update of Android 13.
Hence, according to the statements by the company, Realme GT Neo 3 should receive two years of OS updates so it may also be eligible for Android 14 update as well. But, let's wait for the official announcement by the company.

The Realme GT Neo 3 new OTA Update has been rolled out and has reached a limited number of users today.
Once the update is available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your Realme device with the latest update.
This is, once again, a staggered rollout that will soon be available to all customers. Please wait for the update to arrive on your device.
