Realme has begun the staged rollout of the April 2022 Security patch update via OTA for the Realme GT Neo 2 model. In March 2022, Realme rolled out the Android 12 stable update for Realme GT Neo 2. So, this update is the first hotfix after the Android 12 upgrade for the device. The latest security patch comes with the build number RMX3370_11.C.05 which has brought numerous system, settings, and other device upgrades.
Realme GT Neo 2 was released on 22nd September 2021 with Android 11, Realme UI 2.0 out-of-the-box.
There are major improvements in the update as this is the first update after the Android 12 upgrade. Talking about the improvements, a charging issue has been fixed where the charging device would switch between different modes of charging. Settings have been improved and optimized including battery styles and more options added in Date & Time settings.
For convenience and efficiency, split-screen modes have been enhanced for a better experience and the Quick Return feature has also been optimized for the Clock app to use. Some more improvements in the update are in the official changelog below.
Note that this is a staged rollout by Realme to ensure there are no critical bugs. It will be available to a few users and with the broader rollout, it will reach the rest of the users. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed within a few days.
