Realme released September 2021 security patch for Realme 8i which is a budget-friendly smartphone released by Realme on 2021, September 14 with Android 11, Realme UI 2.0 out-of-box.
Recently Realme released the first OTA update for the device, that update, in general, didn't bring any noticeable improvements and you can check out by reading here Realme 8i First OTA Software Update with fixes
The update will be randomly pushed out to a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. This might be the first security patch for the device since launch

Once the update is available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your Realme device with the latest security/software update.
