On 23rd August 2021, OnePlus officially rolled out the OnePlus Nord CE 5G Software Update with the device getting the OxygenOS 11.0.6.6 along with the July 2021 Android Security Patch.
However, the latest OxygenOS 11.0.6.6 update does not bring the new Bitmoji AOD feature which places your Snapchat Bitmoji on the AOD (Always On Display) screen. This feature is available on other OnePlus devices.
This Software Update has upgraded the device's security with the July 2021 Android Security Patch but not the latest August 2021 Patch despite it being the last week of August.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G received a similar Software Update last month, but it did not include any Android Security Patch.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G was released on June 10th, 2021 with an Android 11 out-of-the-box.

As mentioned above, this is a Software update for OnePlus Nord CE 5G and not the major/stable OS update as it has an Android 11 OS already.
Therefore, Android 12 will be the first major OS update on this device and it is also eligible to be on the Android 13 update list as well as it will reportedly receive only two major OS updates.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G Software Update with OxygenOS 11.0.6.6 is currently rolling out in phases. And, it is soon expected to expand to other regions soon.
Once the update is available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your OnePlus device with the latest update.
