OnePlus has started the incremental rollout of the May 2022 Security patch via OTA for the OnePlus 8T model. The latest security patch comes with the build number for the Indian, European, and North American regions which has brought some minor improvements and fixes in the system of the device.
OnePlus 8T was released on 16th October 2020 with Android 10 out-of-the-box, and upgradable to Android 12 with OxygenOS 12 (as of 2022)
This time, there aren't any significant enhancements for the device. System stability has been increased, resulting in greater device performance and a better user experience. For security reasons, the Android security patch has been upgraded to May 2022.
As of now, this is a staged rollout. The update will reach a small fraction of users to ensure there are no critical bugs. If no bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed in a few days.

The OnePlus 8T will receive three years of major OS updates and four years of Security updates.

The OnePlus 8T Software Update with OxygenOS 12 with C.20 Build is currently rolling out in India.
Once the update is available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your OnePlus device with the latest update.
