Oneplus 9R Software Update:

OnePlus has begun the incremental rollout of the OxygenOS 11.2.7.7 update for the Oneplus 9R along with the January 2022 Security Patch and improvements in the system stability, the device is currently running Android 11. But coming to Android 12, the device has not been enrolled into an open beta program yet & Its sibling Oneplus 9 & Oneplus 9 Pro is still getting Hotfixes related to Android 12.

OnePlus 9R was released on 14th April, 2021 with Android 11 out of the box .

The device was last seen running on OxygenOS 11.2.6.6 with November 2021 Security Patch and had skipped the December 2021 Security Patch & there are still no signs of [Android 12/OxygenOS 12] which is kind of disappointing for Semi-Flagship Device of brand like OnePlus which is known for Software Updates.

It is also Eligible to be on the Android 12 update list as well. And it may probably be getting the Unified Operating System in 2022 which OnePlus had showcased with the likes of Oppo.

The OnePlus 9R will get three years of major Android upgrades and four years of security patches reportedly.
