Nokia has officially released the Nokia 7.2 August 2021 Android Security Patch Update for users globally. This update comes a month after the July 2021 Security Update for the same device.
Basically, the Nokia 7.2 has grabbed two consecutive Security Updates in two months. This is great news for the users as the device's security is being upgraded constantly.
The news of the Nokia 7.2 August 2021 Android Security Patch Update was confirmed by the Nokia users on Twitter. As mentioned above, the update has been released globally, and India & Egypt are two of the regions to receive the update.
However, the update is still based on Android 10 as the Nokia 7.2 has not yet received the major Android 11 Update yet!
The Nokia 7.2 was released in September 2019 with an Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.

The Nokia 7.2 has received one major OS update with Android 10 in March 2020.
It is officially expected to receive the Android 11 update soon and it will probably be its second/last major OS update. Few users hinted that Android 11 might come in Q3 2021, but it hasn't arrived yet.
As per Android One program, Nokia is committed to offer 2 major OS updates with 3 years of security patch to its devices.

Once the update is available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your Nokia device with the latest update.
