Realme has started rolling out the incremental update of the July 2022 OTA update for the Realme 8i model. The latest software update comes with the build number RMX3151_11_A.45 which has brought only one major change to the system of the device since the device is still running on the May 2022 security patch.
Realme 8i was released on 14th September 2021 with Android 11, Realme UI 2.0 out-of-the-box.
There hasn't been any update to the security of the device since the device is still running on the May 2022 security patch. No significant changes can be seen to the system of the device. Some of the previously known issues have been fixed which were hindering the performance in the previous build and system stability has been improved for better performance.

Note that this is a staged rollout by Realme to ensure there are no critical bugs. It will be available to a few users and during the broader rollout, it will reach the rest of the users. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed within a few days.

The Realme 8i was released with Android 11 out-of-the-box. Realme started rolling out the Android 12 Open Beta program for the device on the 27th of May and may soon get the stable update.
Hence, according to the statements by Realme, the device may be eligible for one major OS update. But we should wait for the official announcement from the company for the Android 13 Realme UI 4.0 update.

The Realme 8i software update with May 2022 Android Security Patch is rolling out in phases reportedly. And, it is expected to be rolled out to all the users soon.
Once the update is available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your Realme device with the latest update.
This is, once again, a staggered rollout that will soon be available to all customers. Please wait for the update to arrive on your device.
